It’s been a while since my last post, and a lot has happened since then. Our fall 2014 homeschool year is in full swing, My little caballero is in Kindergarten, and el sheriff is in 2nd grade. My little pajarito is 3 years old and my little monita just turned one!
And we also moved. LOL I just have to laugh! Especially, because I have lost count of all the times we have moved in the last 7yrs. LOL
It has been so busy here getting settled and back into our routine. And now we find ourselves celebrating Thanksgiving. My how time flies.
This week we will be with my in laws for Thanksgiving day and then spend the next day with my family. I will be making apple and pumpkin pies to share. I am so looking forward to spending time with our families. And of course enjoying all the delicious food that comes with it. Yum!
Here is a fun Thanksgiving activity that we did this year, that you can do with your family. We made a list of all the things we are thankful for. There are other ways you can do this activity, but we chose the list this time. I love that this can be done year round as well, to keep it in mind when things get hard and we forget to be thankful.
So as a gentle reminder my children and I made a list of the many things to be thankful for.
Here are some of them: life, today, chocolate, health, family, playing in the snow, the beach, and the park.
This is a picture of the list.
Remembering all the wonderful things there are to be thankful for, really does change my attitude and the day goes by way better. Have fun making this with your children. Leave me a comment on how your list turned out and what your children said they were thankful for. I would love to hear about it.
Have a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving and may the Lord richly bless you!
In His Love,
Here are some fun Thanksgiving activities that I found on one of my favorite websites confessionsofahomeschooler.com.
