Writing Through the Word: The Book of 1 CorinthiansOn July 1, 2017 by Rachel
Just finishing up the book of Romans in our writing through the word journey in the bible. We are going to learn so much about God’s character and love for us. I can’t wait to see what His word will speak to us in the next book of the bible that we are starting today July 1st.
Which will be 1 Corinthians.
If you are just joining us and would like to write the book of Romans from last months schedule you can find it here:
“Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer, distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.” Romans 12:9-13
It’s so amazing how the bible will speak to you every time you read it no matter what. There is always something to be learned and will just make sense when you read or listen to the word. Even when there are times that I open my bible to read and don’t feel like I get anything out of it, later maybe not on the same day. But when I’m not even thinking about it, a verse I read will come up that pertains to what I’m going through. We are going to learn so much as we continue our journey through the bible, chapter by chapter, book by book, verse by verse.
Were there any verses that spoke to you as you read and wrote the book of Romans?
“For whatever things were written long before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:4-6
I would love to hear all about what spoke to you, or what insights or questions you have on what you read in your bible.
You are welcome to leave comments down below or email me with any questions you may have.
And now we are ready to move on to starting the next book, which is 1 Corinthians.
