Writing Through The Word: The Book of Galatians

Hello Everyone!!

Fall and October are here!! The year is flying by!! Writing through the word has been such a blessing.  It’s been good spending time in the word.  Reading and writing the word and hiding it in our hearts has so many benefits.  You just never know what life is going to throw at you.  And it is so good to have the word in your heart and mind to get through the challenges that we face everyday.

You are all one in Christ Jesus.  Galations 3:28

And so here is the writing schedule for the month of October.

You can download it here:

I also created a version of the schedule in Espanol.

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.  Galations 2:20

I would love to hear how you have been doing in spending time in the word.  Believe me, I know it can be hard to keep up. I have four children under 10yrs. and it can get super crazy!!  But I know that He is my strength and my hope and how I get through my days.  Without Him I don’t know how I would do it.  Trust me I have fallen behind many times or not kept up.  So I keep going where I left off.  So just don’t stop if you missed a day or so or even a week. Just pick up where you left off.  It’s okay.  The main reason for doing this is to spend time continually getting to know our Father in heaven everyday.  I wanted to share some advice that I have learned over the years on how to keep up spending time in the word.

I hope they will be an encouragement to you and help you to keep your daily quiet time with the Lord.

  1. Gather your bible study materials, pens, bible, journal, ect., and put them in a cute basket or cute tote bag.
  2. Find a quiet place in your home, that you can go to daily, and make it a cozy cute little nook.
  3. Set a time everyday for your special time with the Lord, or a reminder on your phone or write it on your calendar as a daily appointment.
  4. Light a candle or play some worship music, get a cup of hot tea, cocoa, or coffee.
  5. Pray for your time with the Lord.

I know that all of this sounds impossible to do.  But they are just ways to encourage your quiet time.  The Lord shows each of us how we can spend our time with Him.  He honors that.  Especially when you have small children this can seem so difficult.  I have had to do it during their nap time or after they go to bed at night.  Lot’s of people recommend the early morning.  Even from way back when.  I think it is a wonderful way to start your day.  It has been challenging to me since, I am a night person.  Although in the past year I have really been trying to go to bed early and wake up early.  Nothing is set in stone on how or when you should have your quiet time.  Just go with the flow of your daily routine.  Again these are just some ideas to encourage you.

Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.  Galations 6:9

Again I really hope that these were encouraging to you.  If you already have a way of how you spend time with the Lord I would love to hear all about it.  Or any other suggestions that you have on how you spend time in the word.  Please comment below.  I can’t wait to hear all about them.  I am all ears.

May you be blessed and be strong in the Lord as you spend time with Him writing out His word this month in the book of Galatians.

Writing Through the Word: The Book of I Corinthians Continued

Happy August everyone!

I just can’t believe how fast time is flying??!   I hope that you are able to keep up on our journey of Writing Through the Word?  Believe me, I know it can be challenging to keep up. That’s why I am a few days behind on getting out this month’s schedule.  Reading and writing out the scripture just makes such a difference because we are not only reading and writing His word, we are memorizing it and hiding it in our hearts at the same time.  By spending time in His word, we will continually, get to know our Father in Heaven more and more.

Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man. The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.                                                                                           I Corinthians 2:9

For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.   I Corinthians 3:11

So for August we will be finishing up the book of I Corinthians and then for the month of September we will start the book of II Corinthians and keep making our way through the bible.  I changed the format a little to day one and on instead of the month and the day, that way if you would like to do the same book another time it won’t have the months and days. I will also be revising the other months and making a section with just the lists to download.  So keep an eye out for that as well.

You can download this month’s free schedule here, just click on the box below:

Let me know if you like this format better than last months format.  May you be blessed as you continue daily, Writing Through the Word.  If you have any questions or if you would like to share what you have learned or what has spoken to you while you have been reading and writing the word, please comment below or message me.  I would love to hear from you!!

Writing Through the Word: The Book of 1 Corinthians

Hey Everyone!

Just finishing up the book of Romans in our writing through the word journey in the bible.  We are going to learn so much about God’s character and love for us.  I can’t wait to see what His word will speak to us in the next book of the bible that we are starting today July 1st.

Which will be 1 Corinthians.

If you are just joining us and would like to write the book of Romans from last months schedule you can find it here:

“Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer, distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.” Romans 12:9-13

It’s so amazing how the bible will speak to you every time you read it no matter what. There is always something to be learned and will just make sense when you read or listen to the word.  Even when there are times that I open my bible to read and don’t feel like I get anything out of it, later maybe not on the same day.  But when I’m not even thinking about it, a verse I read will come up that pertains to what I’m going through.  We are going to learn so much as we continue our journey through the bible, chapter by chapter, book by book, verse by verse.

Were there any verses that spoke to you as you read and wrote the book of Romans?

“For whatever things were written long before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:4-6

I would love to hear all about what spoke to you, or what insights or questions you have on what you read in your bible.

You are welcome to leave comments down below or email me with any questions you may have.

And now we are ready to move on to starting the next book, which is 1 Corinthians.

Writing Through the Word: The Book of Romans Continued for the Month of June

Hellooo June!!

We are continuing in the book of Romans this month to finish it up. Got behind a few days and I’m finally all caught up. Its so amazing how God’s word speaks!! Hope you are keeping up and enjoying this journey through the Bible with me!!   I’m just so thankful for His gift of His Son Jesus for our salvation, and the beautiful love He has for us all!!!

These are some of the verses that spoke to me:

Death no longer has dominion over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives He lives to God. Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 6:9-11

For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.  Romans 6:14

For the wages of sin is death, but the Gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 6:23

I would love to hear about how the Lord has spoken to you in His word! Or if you would like to discuss anything that you have read so far we can start a discussion on my face book page or in the comments. Of course you can email me as well. I would love to help answer any questions you may have.
